To lose some weight and energize your body, take a 15-second cold shower right after your normal shower. Brrrrrrrrr!

Wait, hear me out please.

Think of it this way. If you’re unwilling to take a simple 15-second step towards self-improvement, weight loss, and increased energy… do you honestly think you’ll ever improve your body and energy levels? Doing nothing and not putting any kind of effort whatsoever into improvement won’t get you anywhere.

If you want a quick fix with your diet or some sort of pill, I have other articles that will help you to drop pounds fast. But to consistently lose weight and keep that weight off, you’ll need to put in some effort. And, to be honest, I’m not asking much from you.

Ok, now that I got that off my chest, onward…

All you need to do is take your normal shower and then when you’re done, turn the water to as cold as possible and run it all over your body for 15 seconds. I’ll be perfectly honest too… it’s hard. It’s a complete shock to your body. In fact, you’ll have a hard time breathing. Fifteen seconds feels more like 3 minutes.

Anyway, why does this energize a person’s body and promote weight loss?

For one, the cold water provokes the body to raise it’s internal body temperature to balance out the shock of the cold water. This creates a more hostile environment for fatty deposits. The extra heat helps to burn off the fat more efficiently.

For two, the cold water acts as a stimulus for energy. Face it, cold water wakes up the body. Always has, always will.

Now, the best time to take the cold shower is in the morning to start your day because the extra efficiency in fat burning will last during your waking hours. If you could get in another one right around dinner time, even better.

By spacing them out like that, your body gets 2 opportunities to experience the weight loss and energizing effects of the cold water. So now all I have to say is try it out for a week and prove me wrong. I dare ya! Good luck.
