Losing Weight After Menopause – Weight Loss And Menopause Made Easy!
Many women I speak with at first believe that losing weight after menopause is for ‘other women’ who are just not normal and have been skinny as a rail all of their lives.
Nothing could be further from the truth.
In fact weight gain and weight loss are normal body functions for all women like you unless you have a medical condition that prevents your body from regulating it’s weight naturally.
Menopause is a phase of life all women will experience at some point and men also have their ‘menopause’ and essentially we all experience a sort of ‘puberty in reverse.’ Weight gain is natural at this time in your life and releasing that weight is also quite natural.
During menopause you begin to deplete hormones that have been with you for quite some time.
A drop in Estrogen means the body will work harder to convert calories to fat where it can get more of this hormone – eventually it will stop doing that but until then weight gain during menopause is normal.
Your Progesterone will drop signaling your body to retain sodium and subsequently retain more water. Water weight can be very uncomfortable.
Your Testosterone will drop which will slow your metabolism and cause lean muscle to soften.

But don’t give up!
Weight loss and menopause is normal.
Your body strives to maintain it’s ideal weight naturally and so by creating the conditions whereby your body is working at its best, you will not only lose weight after menopause but this will become a permanent condition of weight loss.
Dieting is not the answer!
Normally people turn to the first ‘diet’ promise they come across when the strong impulse to lose weight strikes them.
Low carb diets
No carb diets (Starvation based)
Herbal Cleanses
Point Counting (Deprivation) Diets
Drink Water before your meals
Appetite Suppressor pills and potions…
Even Radical Stomach Surgeries!
None of this works for everyone for very long.
98% of people who turn to ‘dieting’ for their weight loss needs FAIL within 2 years. I’ve had this experience more than once. My wife also has. Our friends also have…
These statistics are grim at best.
This is important because if you want to lose weight don’t you want to keep it off and not have to think about it?
Consider how it would be to-
1) lose weight permanently.
2) Never needing to diet.
3) Lose all food cravings which aren’t even normal in the first place.
Of course this sounds terrific and makes the most sense and by slightly modifying your lifestyle you can create the conditions that allow your body to experience normal weight balance. Even during and especially after menopause.
Here are 3 suggestions to begin introducing quick and natural weight loss into your life.
Choose low glycemic meals
Exercise moderately
Take high quality nutritional supplementation
Not only will you be choosing foods that promote weight loss in menopause, by avoiding highly processed carbohydrates you will eliminate food cravings and this is where ALL diets fail.
